lussies LASSIES President: Gloria Nelson Under the leadership of president Gloria Nelson and Mrs. Orebaugh, the advisor, Lassie members participated in several service projects for the athletic depart- ment. Among these were the sponsoring of the annual football banquet in November, and the after-game supper for the Golden- dale b'asketball team. New uniforms were adopted during the year, and revisions were made to the c1ub's constitution. In the late spring an initiation banquet was A ltii e t held in Yakima. A pep band was formed of mostly high school members to play at the basketball games. Members rep- resented the band at the district contest and at the all-state groups at Yakima.
