Student Council is a student govern- ment organization working for the bet- terment of the school. Student Council holds various functions for the school, such as dances, student of the month, etc. The main event of Stu- dent Council is Homecoming. In addition to its contributions. With aspirations high, the Band once again set out to achieve the highest ratings possible. Long hours of practice and hard work helped to accomplish that goal. However, the high- light of the year for band members was the trip to Washing- ton D.C. where they made appearances and performed in assorted stops along the way. Another noteworthy aspect of the trip were the varied tours and ex- cursions to different places of historical interest and value.
