ZHS, for some a Fantasyland,'' for others a “Tomorrowland. ” To Coach Robert Alwood - the winningest coach in Bulldog history - we dedicate the 1972 edition of the Zephilsco. The members of the staff believe all students join with us in saying Thanks to Coach Alwood for his services as a Math and Physical Education teacher, as sponsor of the most active Pep Club ever, and as a coach who gives the team, and its followers the will to win. 4 6 Each generation is reared and taught in a different world; it leaves its scars, its reforms, and its beauties. Today's generation will be remembered not for its blind obedience and passive acceptance, but for its eagerness to understand the complexities of life and to find the hidden path to unity and understanding among men. 7 . . And will continue to grow because of resources. Lands vibrant, full of ambition, overwhelmed with new, creative ideas!!! 9 Each land holding its own personality. Personalities of dress, speech, art, work, writing and emotion! Each one SHOUTING to be heard . . . standing to be noticed!!! 10 11 These pages are the lands of the Pepsi generation, the excedrin headaches, the tomorrows' future!! 12 13 14 15 16 I ADMINISTRATION Knowledge is Power --Bacon. The Administration reads us, guides us, and teaches us. They are the backbones of our goals in the future. They make decisions that will help us to become better leaders for tomorrow. All the answers to our lives are not found in the classroom, but require tedious hours of library research, homework, and a mind of our own. Yes--they are our guiding influence ... but they will not always be there! 1« PRINCIPAL RAYMOND B. STEWART DEANS Hurrah! ZHS changed the dress code this year! Long hair for boys, slacks for girls. The deans are those people who give out the tardy slips, ask why you didn't go to class, and feel Because it's raining is not a very good excuse. But without them ZHS could not function. The deans keep the school rolling and teach us the rights and wrongs of life. We'll never forget them, NEVER! JAMES DAVIS Dean of Boys SUE CUSHING Dean of Girls Varsity Cheerleaders P.E.
