We wish to thank Miss Mary Ruth Armistead for relinquishing the time for this special broadcast of the tenth reunion of the Senior Class of Z. H. S. year 1950. As most of you know, Miss Armistead conducts the HAunt Mary's advice to the Lovelornu program over this station at this hour, Monday through Friday. Faye Allen of nThe Rockn has just been elected Governor of Georgia. In an interview with the press she states that Hugh Watson will run the elevator in the capitol. Headlines reveal that Bruce Lackey and his wife, nAudreyn will not be able to attend the reunion, because he has just blown up the entire town of Concord with a chemistry experiment. Ernestine Coley is taking a trip around the world by mule train, but instead of going clippety clop, she is going flippety flop with nFlopU. Donald Connell has spent the past ten years, trying to prove that all blondes aren't light headed. We have just recieved word that Mary Ann Hunter, the engaged lady of the class of 50, can't be present tonight. She is leaving for the west with her soldier husband and their ten young privates. Dorothy Ann Weaver has kept her resolve to keep her hair long, no matter how long other girls keep their hair short. Joanne Bush has worked in the mail order department for Sears-Roebuck so lon, that she has given up hope of having her order for a man filled. Paty Sue Pryor operates a dancing school in Williamson. She guarantees results especially in square dancing. Dr. Ann Huff, P.H.D. is travelling over the United States on a lecture tour. Her subject if Hwhy a Zebra Hasn't Stars as well as Stripesu. We hear that Vence Wilson has had his life insured for 325,000, so that he will have something to live on after he is dead. Jacquelyn Allen has just been crowned nMiss American, in a national beauty contest. Mary Emily Hammond lives on a ranch in Texas. She has struck oil, and it is rumored that she is hiding from her many suitors. A big success in radio is none other than Joe Caxmichael who is master of ceremonies on the program nPeople are Patheticn. Lorene Tolen is quite successful in the management of a bakery in Griffin. She specializes in HBunnsH. nTrue Romancesn is an outstanding magazine of the Year. But why not, when our old school mate, Louise Smith is editor. Life for Edith Reeves is all nSonnyn, more or less. She and her husband, Sonny Davis live in a little vine covered Cottage in Williamson and there are lots of little HSon beamsn around the door.
