We The People Student Council is responsible for such ac- tivities as the annual ping-pong tournament and adopt-a-child at Christmas. They help or- ganize the homecoming and 50's day. Each year the Student Council holds a college night with representatives from colleges in and around our area. Mr. Ed Ottenga, advisor, with the assis- tance of various students, help better stu- dent-teacher relationships. Also on their agenda is setting up student elections for the upcoming year. The officers are President — Mike Alfman, Vice-President — Terry McHenry, Secretary — Judy Rice and Trea- surer — Robin Mills ADJUSTING lights for the Christmas dance, Mr. Ed Ot- tenga concentrates on the decorations for the upcom- ing dance. POSING with the vast array of presents. Student Coun- cil members have worked a long and tiring day of shop- ping for needy children. A-V Staff Turns On! The A-V Staff provided the students in the cafeteria with music during lunch hour and in senior study hall. The crew fur- nishes teachers with various audio-visual equipment for mov- ies and other events in and around our school. The staff supplies the sound equipment for dances and is re- sponsible for the daily announce- ments. The A-V staff is also responsi- ble for the radio program WZHS which is aired on WHIZ every Fri- day night. SETTING the dials, Allen May6 readies himself for a day at broadcasting.
