 « DEVILETTES Devilette captain, Pam Watson, lead the corps in many activities which include various performances at football and basketball games, the pregame and halftime show at the Cincinnati Bengals game. This past December the Devilettes with the ZHS Band presented several appearances in Florida including one at Disney World, and one in the Orange Bowl Parade in Miami. On April 9th the Devilettes won 2nd place at State Competition that was held at Otter- bein College. They competed against five other drill teams in their catagory, Class A Live Music.  TOM SAWYER A literary classic sprang to life as the drama department pre- sented TOM SAWYER as the Senior Class Play. Adapted by Sarah Spencer from Mark Twain's novel, the play was well-received by the audience. Complementing the acting were the impressive scenery and the special effects of the lighting, both of which enhanced such memorable moments of the play as the cave scene and the grave- yard scene. This particular play was an am- bitious undertaking for the dra- ma department due to the need for a very large cast, numerous set changes, vocal selections and special sound and lighting ef- fects. Despite the routine prob- lems and traumas, the cast, crews, director and technicians should be congratulated for an enjoy- able, successful production. C 21
