DECORATING by Student Council provides an atmosphere which reflects the theme A Night With the Stars. SLOW-DANCING under the stars, dancers relax to tranquil music. GETTING into action are Mr. and Mrs. Ottenga, demonstrating a dance step from the past. GUARDING the refreshment table (from cookie monsters like Greg Wyatt) are Debbie Fox and Nancy Kildow. SINGING pop tunes, Razzle , brings life to the Homecoming. IS

M • « • ''f « . i i ‘ ' «S •• 41: • ’ • The band got off to a very low-spirited start this year at Camp Russell. This was the sight of band camp. Eventually the spirit started to rise and the practice increased to bring us to the four main events of the year Band Competition at Wintersville in which the band placed first in their class, Cincinnati Bengals halftime performance, a parade at Walt Disney World , and the highlight of the year, The Orange Bowl Parade , in Miami Beach, Florida. The band performed at all football games to boost the Blue Devils on to victory. The pep band also made appearances at many basketball games and pep rallies. While in Miami the Band had some FLASHING experiences while around the pool. The boosters sponsored a New Year's Eve Party for the band, which was then followed by the band's own celebration of the event.
