While I was thinking of the e here assemb- lips of your what has been heavens spoke class of 1952, a voice out of the will tell you unto me saying WHear ye my words, I the future of the class of l952.W Suddenly I seemed to be in a dazed mood and just then appeared before me what seemed to be a fair angel representing the angel of prophecy and of things to come. In a moment it seemed that she rolled back the curtains of the dim past and per- mitted me to gaze into the long vista of things big time hot- yet to come. As I gaze into the future I see among the dim shadows of the people yet to be fami those dear old clasmates of 1952. First I see Jimmy Miners now a rod driver liar shapes of who has just won first place in the championship hot rod race. As he ascends from his car I can see his wife running to him with arms outstretched. They invite me to spend the night with them in their new 820,000 bungalow. when I leave the next morning I pass an 011 Refinery. As the Pres1dent's desk I see none other than the old classmate, Gayle McEvoy. He is now the president of the Frahm-McEvoy Oil Refinery Company. Seated next to him is the Vice-President wearing a bow tie and looking very distinguished. On taking a second look I recognize him as Billy Frahm. They are very happy as the co-owners of the Oil Refinery. Now in the haze I see an old out in the state of Wyoming. She uated in an old chair reading a WHow To Be a Perfect Mother.W She of three children and the wife of rancher. Virginia Peters, too, was mate of 1952. 7 schoolmate way is cozily sit- book entitled, is the mother a large cattle a former class pl 0l0AeCy Just then another vision appears in my mind, this is of Delano Reese who is addressing the United Nations on the importance of installing automatic rat traps in China. He is persuasive in this matter of grave importance. As of yet, Del- ano is single. He spends his time on lectures and political work. Now I see Richard Maassen, a full time father of triplets and co-owner of the Catchem Mousetrap Company happily on his way to work. He has just made his last payment on a five room bungalow and now owns a 1957 Cadillac. Next I see Joyce Miller, prominent dress de- signer, whose large exquisite studio is in the WaldorfHotel in New York. Paris doesn't set the styles any .more, the fact is Joyce is the only dress designer Paris and the United States has. Another vision then appears unto me. I see Betty Ricketts happily married to a prosperous Cadillac salesman. I also see her twenty room home all ultra modern with twenty maids, ten for keeping the house and the other ten to care for her French Poodle. Suddenly the vision vanished from my mind and I see another equally amazing. There before my eyes I see Clarence Eikenbary. He is now Pres- ident of General Motors. I found out he was en- gaged to a beautiful blonde society girl. They plan to be married in all luxury and extravagance in the Garden Terrace of the Bon Van Nell Hotel in New York City. Now while I visit the New York stadium in New York, I settle down to watch the ball game. The next batter up to bat is none other than Larry Heldt, known to his ball fans as WThe Home Run K1ng.N Larry has been very happily married to a Nebraska girl for two years. They have an eight pound baby boy and have already made plans for his career in the Sports field. B E . lr 1. ... r ni f I Q. up LL va!! A F! 'A ,:. 41-3 N 1 X.. , . J, 5: V. On Wednesday the Freshmen boys were to wear dresses above their knees with high heels. The girls had to wear bibbed overalls backwards and inside out. Thursday all Freshmen wore raincoats and boots and carried an umbrella. They also carried their books in a suitcase. On Friday, the girls wore long underwear and the boys wore off-the-shoulder blouses with their jeans rolled above their knees and hose on. All three days the Freshmen polished shoes and bowed to all Seniors. Friday morning we planned what the Freshmen should do as we marched down town at n on. Dennis Johnston and Charlene Mumm each carried a drum. The Freshmen walked around the fladpole singing and afterwards the whole school was invited to Cl1ff's for ice cr am. Friday night at 7:30 a party was given by the Senior Class. The Freshmen were to plan and present a half hour program for the school. After this they were all blindfolded and led through a line where they had to eat various things prepared by the Seniors. After the Sophomore Class cleaned up, every- one began dancing. The Juniors served refresh- ments, ice cream and pop. The party was over at about 11:00. 12 m fr 4?
