Photographers clown around, but they take their work seri- ously. News reporters and photographers report and photograph the latest news and events that occur in the world. The news either comes out everyday or weekly but in the case of THERMO the news is reported every 2 or 3 weeks and delivered during third period to stu- dents and faculty. Hunting and searching for people to be inter- viewedg rewriting for what seems the hundredth time and sitting infront of a typewriter is what THERMO staffers do for an hour each day. THERMO photographers, of course, must not be forgotten. They develop filmg print pho- tos according to specifications of staffers or advisor and have arguments among them- selves as to who is going to take the dullest photo assignment. THERMO staffers and photographers put a lot of time and effort into the school newspa- per. So next time you hold a THERMO in your hands read the stories, and who knows you THERMO Editorial Board primly poses for the camera. 4Ps5,,,,- V x X3 A . n jd M 91. The success of any school year is determined by many things, including the number of activities and events. Un- der the direction of Mr. David Psolka, student council has been very busy and their hard work has paid off. Council is composed of student body officers elected in the Spring, appointed officers in manager positions and class officers. Other special people, such as foreign ex- change students, are also on Council. From taking ID pictures at registration time, to helping with graduation, Student Council is always serving the students and staff. Extra busy events include Yuma-Kofa week, Homecoming and the Leadership Workshop. Council meets daily during the fifth period to take care of routine business of approving club activities and setting student policy. Council is the voice of the student, through the elected officers, and many concerns have been taken through Council to the administration and School Board.
