Editors' Note 1985 Donna Hernandez, Jeanne BelTran This 4984-85 school year was our final year of aTTending Yuma High. We remin- ised abouT The years ThaT have passed quickly before our very eyes. We never speculaTed ThaT we would hold The posiTions of co-edifors of The 4984-85 El Saguaro Yearbook. We encounTered many dilemmas in processing This yearbook, in The baTTling wiTh phoTographers, in hasseling wiTh The sTaff, and of The exTended hours of correcTing pages. LasT year we had some color, buT This year lvlr. Johnson, our advisor, made iT possible for inTroducTion and senior secTions To be in color. We preferred This considering ThaT we were seniors This year. We also ThoughT iT was an exTreme improvemenT for The yearbook. LasT year we observed The old Ag building being demolished, buT This year we wiTnessed a much-needed new building being consTrucTed. The sTaff nexT year will be exTremely forTunaTe since publicaTions will be in The new building, compuTers will be insTalled, and The phoTo labs will be much beTTer. The new building will also house The library-media cenTer, science and mafh deparTmenTs. We observed a varieTy of fads ThroughouT The school year. WiTh Thefreshness of The blinding flourescenT earrings, shirTs, belTs, panfs, socks, and shoes. This was one fad ThaT you could noT ignore. Madonna broughT anoTher fad To many sTudenTs wiTh The lacy-look. Alfhough These arTicles of cloThing were a Tad exTravaganT, iT didn'T seem To arouse any sTudenTs. lf anyThing iT prevenTed us from having accidenfs by observing These blinding colors. ThroughouT The years we endured The bad Times ThaT weren'T so good, buT The good Times were The besT. We encounTered The difficulTies, responsibiliTies, and achievemenTs in accomplishing The 4985 El Saguaro. . ln The following years you may possess an excelling book or you may noT, buT nobody will share The momenTs we cherished and our self-glorificaTion in compleT- ing The 4984-85 El Saguaro.
