'Ca U S . Henrik Bach comes from Hansfhoem, Denmark. Henrik's inTeresTs include Tennis, surfing, and sfaying aT The beach. He says ThaT The U.S. is preTTy much The same as Denmark. One Thing he likes abouT Yuma is The beauTiful weaTher. Henrik says ThaT iT's cold in Denmark all year round. Henrik plans on going To col- lege, possibly in America. Afferwards he is planning on a maTh-relaTed career. His real ambiTion is To become a piloT in The Danish Air Force. This year Henrik is Taking Eng- lish, American hisTory, a few maTh classes, and gov'T free enTerprise. Back home he Took classes ThaT mosT of us would consider more difficulT. Some of These are German, English, Danish, algebra, and geome- Try. Henrik says he likes America and doesn'T have To leave unTil nexT AugusT. Henrik is seen siTTing in fronT of Snider. Carmen is wiTh us Thanks To The RoTary Club. If she seems familiar To some ThaT's because she was here lasT year. Carmen came To The U.S. in Jan. of 4984, and will leave in Jan. of 4985. She was well known and well liked aT Yuma High, and she was on The girls' swimming Team. Before coming To America, Carmen graduafed wiTh her own class in TaubaTe, Brazil. She Then graduafed again wiTh our class of 4984 and came back To school unTil her deparTure in 4985. Some of The classes ThaT Car- men Took aT Yuma High were U.S. hisTory, English, Spanish and French. Her major in college will have To do wiTh languages or chemisfry.
