ECW- tors and staff writers write the sto- ries, which are then sent to the print- ers, where they are printed onto long strips of paper in columns. These strips are sent back to the ecitors, who cut the seperate sto- ries out and position them onto a large page exactly as they will go into each copy. These large pages are then sent back to the printers, who pubtshes 2,400 copies to be distributed at Yuma l-Hgh. A writer using the name Ford Pre- fect contributed several humorous article to the Thermo editors, caus- ing some confusion as to his identity. Ford Prefect turned out to be news editor Tim Chong.
