There were times when Student Council became down-right serious. Like at Homecoming, when Mary Anita had more cars than attendants. Or how about the time they glued the photo of one of the student's I.D.? upside-down. Throughout the year David Borunda, under the super- vision of Mrs. Poage held the group together quite well , and together along with all the rest, the year turned out to be a very successful one. El Saguaro isn't a class of all fun and games. It takes plenty of organization, much work and lots and lots of patience. We try each year to satisfy you. This year we tried even harder, and to our relief we succeeded. This year El Saguaro was head- ed by Steve Cabrera as editor-in- chief with Cindy Phipps as co-editor. Head of the Photo Department was Patsy Martinez. Returning from last year's staff were Chris Kvashay, AJ Kelly and Ernie Munoz.
