'Although this was their first year in the department they proved a wonderful success handling the problems of the students concerning grades, future plans and scholarf ships, devoting their spare time and guidance periods to supervising the records of all who came to them. May we wish them continued success in this very important task of guidance as we salute them for a job well done. 'aculty mi :Pw. J Competent THINK Yuma Union High school pupils, teachers, nonfcertificated employees, administrators and Board of Education entered the educational circus arena this year with vigor, enthusiasm, and determmaf tion to make the school year 195566 the best ever on Criminal Hill. As the year progressed feathers from cardinals and thunderbirds were flying all around the circus tent. The wild cats, musf tangs, panthers, and badgers were subdued andcaged and jack rabbit ears and skins were hanging in almost every cell. In addition, the Spartans have been disarmed and locked up for the year. The only bunch still out of control and on the loose are the coyotes and the Criminals will skin them if they don't watch out. 1 Music events, dramatic presentations, winning orations, judging teams, publications, school fairs, parades, club activities, school dances, and scholarship winners have all contributed toward making 195556 banner year for the Criminal Circus.
