OCTOBER 6th, GETTING THE BALL ROLLING AT THE FIRST OF THE YEAR - THE SENIORS Ever Since Eve , the ditch day at Martinez, and all that. Do you remember all the fun we had during the year, kids? Even if things right now look kind of gloomy and there's a big mess to clean up in the world before we can really go ahead with the future, we'll look back on this year with a memory that it was a good year and one in which we managed to have a pretty good time and get quite a lot of work done, too. It felt pretty good to be big-shot seniors. Now we're ready for whatever is coming next. On the whole, seniors are a little more at ease in front of a crowd, can understand teachers' jokes better, and are just a little on the cocky side.
