5? ...Q-5iL.i...i og, Q By RCY NIOSER, Editor Perhaps you will eagerly turn the pages of this yearbook to look at the illustrations and to read the many writeups. We would ask you, as you peruse, to do more than just this. We would ask you to go behind the scenes and to view all of these features with which you have intimately lived for the past year as motivated by a defnite theme: STUDENT LIFE. STUDENT LIFE was made the theme choice because of its obvious close relationship with an annual, it being the purpose of a yearbook and the ambition of its compilers to depict campus and classroom activities in the year's memory book. To justify the use of STUDENT LIFE as our theme, we have originated and chosen unique layouts and designs which interpret and symbolize the school life of the students. Because of the important place that time holds in the curriculum of the students, we have arranged each divisional page in the form of a clock. Corresponding in number to the six periods in the school day are the six divisional page clocks. The hands on each of these clocks denote the time of that period, thus each division is chronologically correct. The faces of the clocks are made up of candid pictures protray- ing the activities of the constituents of each particular division.
