Bottom row: L, Allen, B, Wall, R, McNichols, L. Smith, N, Greenfield, I. Scott, T, Blomstrom, K, Serl, Twenty-five boys reported to Coach O'Brien in September to check out football equip- ment, The Little Indians ended the season in November with one won and three lost record, The first game was the conference opener with Akron, Playing at Akron in a severe wind storm, Yuma fell to the Akron juniors 12 to 6, Wray came to Yuma for the second game and opened with a three touchdown burst in the first quarter and an 18 to 0 half time advantage. Yuma opened the second half with a fine display of football and scored early in the third quarter but the Wray defense proved too much for the Little Indians and they fell 18 to 6, The third game of the season found Akron at iuma, Playing before the largest crowd of the season the Little Indians scored on the first play from scrimmage and then settled down to a strong defensive game and won a well earned 6 to 0 victory over Akron, The final game of the season was played at Wray. The Little Braves had little trouble moving the ball until they reached the Wray twenty yard line and there the Eaglet de- fense stiffened and held the Red and White team to no gain, After a fine exhibition of grade school football by both teams, the game ended 21 to 6 in favor of Wray.
