A large portion ofthe student body became involved by dressing up in the styles of the early rock and roll era. . .and Assemblies Brian lVlathis, Assemblies Commissioner, kept the school entertained this year with several exciting assemblies . With such acts as Davey and the Corvettes, ancl an extremely memorable Christmas Assembly featuring the Roto-Rooter Goodtime Christmas Band , the assemblies of the 74-75 school year were far superior to those ofthe past, in quality as well as in quantity .

X if The highlight of the day was the Sock Hop which was held that night in the gym with Snotty Scotty and the Hankies providing the tunes from the Fabulous Fifties , every- one there rocked and rolled for three and a half hours, During the dance, the sophomore Bee Bop Queen and her court, who had been elected at school, were announced, Teri lVlclVlillan was crowned Queen and her court consisted of Vicki Wheeler, Linda Bushnell, Lorraine Kerbs, and June Farrell , This retreat into the nostalgic age of the 1 95O's gave many students a temporary relief from the pressures of today, and vve are looking forward to next year's Fifties Day, and the Sock Hop . mhwaa
