AT the Freshman Reception each frosh had To come dressed as a baby. Pat Walsh was chosen as the cutest girl, while Henry Meschendorf was The cutest boy, Bob Mul- cahy and Ardith Lahmann were The cutest couple. Art Sinner was class prexy,Ramona Harris was vice-president, Peggy Lewis kept The notes and Jack Ockerman handled the money. They held a very successful closed dance, Juke Box Jamboree. Frank Van Vliet was Their advisor. They were said To be one of The most active classes in The last Ten years. 1948-1949 The sophs started off The year by Tying with The frosh aT The Derby Day battle. Ronnie Livengood led The class, Paul March was vice-president, Beverly Atkins was secretary, Maybelle Accito was Treasurer, Ardith Lahmann was reporter, while Virginia Atterbury Took care of The social activities. A Little Bird Told Me was The Theme of The dance held by The sophs. George E. Anderson was Their advisor. 1949-1 950 They had a very successful year in Their Junior Year. With Earl Miller acting as prexy, Georgia Williams, vice-president, Maybelle Accito, treasurer, Valdyne Hurlbert, social activties, and Beverly Atkins, reporter. They had many successful concessions during The year along with cake and candy sales and noon dances. The annual .lunior Prom was held May 13 in The cafeteria. The Theme was Flamingo Fantasy . George E. Anderson was Their advisor. 1950-1951 This year, our last and most important year, The officers were Fayetta Courtney, president, Georgia Williams, secretary, Jack Ockerman, Treasurer, Pat Walsh, reporter, and Mildred Hurdle, social activities. The advisor was Mr. Clarence M. Haan. The class sponsored many successful concessions along with a dance and cake sale. The student body officers were Ron Livengood, student control, .lim Yoshimura, athletics, Maybelle Accito, finance, Mildred Dahlen and Christine Roper, publicity, and Peggy Lewis Miller, social activities. The Van Guards were Maybelle Accito, Eileen EwerTsen, Georgia Williams and Carol McFadden. Seven seniors became life members of The Honor Society. They were: Maybelle Accito, Eileen EwerTsen, .loan Fields, Norman Mark, Peggy Lewis Miller, Beverly Gardner, and Norma Howard. The Theme of The Senior Carnival was Far Away Places and was a huge success. The Griental Garden was The title of The Senior Ball which was held May 26.
