Yon picture is of the happy group of boys widely known as the Squires . Ye members are chosen for their gentlemanly c o n tl u ct around school. Derbys and canes are their well known emblems, Lord High Commander is Bud Marclal. Ye Lord Not So High Commander is Don Wriglit,Scroll Keeper and tax collector is Bob Klampt. Mr. Wfard is the Highest Overseer. This royalty kept the club going by having such activities as handling the reserved section of the football stadium. Ye successful dance held after ye exciting tourna- ment, better known as the Big- Little Game, was put on by these Lord Squires, with the appropriate title Peace Pipe Polka . This group of energetic knights and noblemen performed such heroic deeds as sending Care packages every month to a family in Ger- many. Yon delegates were sent to a national convention at Columbus, Ohio and to a district convention at Oakland. A rummage sale was spon- sored by this group and they also held a grand ball at which the local jive attended. High oriicials of the club were chos- en every half term of the sentence each year, Mr. Ruth held reign over his dukes. barons and noblemen. lfor the first term Nelson Johanson was elected to prince high com- mand. while Paul Bailey occupied the throne the setond half. Norman Mark and Bruce Harter were chos- en as vice-princes for the two terms. Scroll keepers were Cooper Nason and then Nelson Johanson. while Bill Spratt and Paul March were the keepers of the treasure chest.
