SENICIQ CLAXS CFHCHQS Stand ng Helen Kosmopolus Bob Brownlee June White Seated Bette Hill Laverne Leu brng Hazel McFeely 'I 948 1 949 Proud senior started year off with a bang led by Prexy Bob Brownlee assisted by June Whlte as Vice President Hazel McFeely recorded notes while Jeannie Schmidt was frnan crer for the first semester and Helen Kosmopolus for e second semester turning rn activities to the papers an was in charge of all activities Kung Blair Butler an Queen Merlyn Kennedy reigned together rn the Royal Court of Mare Antomette of the annual Mardi Gras put on vey succe sful Senlor Carnival the l3th of May Senior Cut Day rolled around on May 3l and the halls were very quiet June 3rd was the date of our annual Senior Ball at the Elks Club Finally the day we were all wanting for came to an end and before us we saw COMMENCEMENT l 947 1 948 Upperclassmen led through Junior year by Jack Nordt concessions to raise money discussed and ordered class held very spectacular Junior Prom Ballerina Ball a rings successful sport dance entitled Fiesta Follies had many l 947 l 946 Lower classmen started off the year under the guidance of many concessions to raise money had a sport dance with President Jimmy Warren tied the Darby with the fresh the animals in the Jungle Jump men came rn second on rnterclass track meet he l 946 l 945 Started out first year by losing the Darby to high and mighty Sophs Blair Butler was elected President came in first rn canned food drive also helped out rn many other drives many students were outstand ng in Honor Society Don Matheson was chosen the cutest boy when he dressed as Cupid for the Freshman Reception while Margie Cross and Shirley Cumrskey were chosen as the cutest couple when they dressed as Raggedy Ann and Andy 1 i ki 3 i ' ' th A . . . ' keeping seniors in the news was Laverne Leibing and Bette Hill . . . June 17 and our years' of hard work and loads of fun ' ' . . . ' ' d - . . . . ' ' . . . ld
