During the month of August, preparations started for the beginning of school. Registration brought the enrollment of the largest freshman class yet, over 900. Ysleta students displayed surprise at the startling summer renovation of the building and campus. A faithful tribe gathered at the air- port to meet the foreign exchange student. Sum- mer leisure came to an end, amid last minute rush, and everyone looked ahead To the coming year. Rabih Mardini, foreign exchange student from Syria, gets acquainted with his American family after arriv- ing at the airport. MISS AUGUST, Roberta Enger, works in publications on the newspaper staff.
