Slowly at times and hurriedly at others, We advanced. Finding 3x - b : Y Memorizing battles, causes and results, Distinguishing sonnets, epics and drama. Whether it was the bang of the gavel on the table, I4 Or the echo of the actors' voices during play practice Selling tickets, decorating, or planning projects, Fall was full of activity. Putting away other events, We gathered in Hutchins Stadium. Crepe-paper streamers dotting the air, Rhythm heard o'er the valley Of the drums and clapping hands. And the pig-skin flying through the air, This spelled fun.

STUDENT BODY PRESIDENT: Joe Cialone Cialone Heads 1961-62 Council BEING PRESIDENT IN- VOLVES DESK WORK TOO. Rushing around to get ban- ners up, TePee Finder pages typed, Homecoming details finished, and keeping up his academic grades, JOE CIA- LONE, this year's Student Body President, was kept busy. Besides his duty of presiding at all the Student Council meetings and direct- ing the various activities of the council, Joe is a member of the National Honor So- ciety as well as a varsity football letterrnan. Joe also attended the annual Texas Association of Student Coun- cils Conference held in the spring. .I OE WAS KEPT BUSY BOOST- ING YSLETA'S S C H O O L SPIRIT.
