Slowly at times and hurriedly at others, We advanced. Finding 3x - b : Y Memorizing battles, causes and results, Distinguishing sonnets, epics and drama. Whether it was the bang of the gavel on the table, I4 Or the echo of the actors' voices during play practice Selling tickets, decorating, or planning projects, Fall was full of activity. Putting away other events, We gathered in Hutchins Stadium. Crepe-paper streamers dotting the air, Rhythm heard o'er the valley Of the drums and clapping hands. And the pig-skin flying through the air, This spelled fun.

Student Council mem- bers were kept busy with assigned jobs and running errands for the teachers. Many of the teachers offered their help during this period. After registration, many people stayed at school getting all the records in order before the term started.
