Two of these were presented by the Sock and Buskin Club, while the third was the annual Senior Play. Hansel and GreteI was dramatized by Sock and Buskin as the annual ChiIdren's Theater presentation. Purpose of the show was to bring favorite children's stories to life for Valley youngsters. A special matinee performance made it possible for more children to see the show. The dramatics organization presented The Birds and the Boys for their fall play. Concerned with the antics of bird watchers, teen-agers, and magazine writers, the production met with success at both presentations. Activities of the Class of '57 were financed by proceeds from the Senior Play, The Little Dog Laughed. The comedy, whose action concerned the attempts of a student psychiatrist to psycho-analyze her family and friends, was one of the most successful productions in Senior Play history. Scholastic actors climaxed their year's activities with the presentation of Gray Bread for the Interscholastic League one-act play competition.
