DEDICATIO The activities of every Ysleta High School student are separated into two fields scholastic and extra curricular She helped Student Body members in both of these fields Would life be quite the same to many without those traditional events the school plays? To those taking part IH such productions the long hours of combmed work and fun will be long remembered to the audiences of these works an evening filled with a multitude of laughs and perhaps a little sadness lightened the burden of worldly problems Both of these groups can thank her for this education and entertainment She didn t sponsor average plays She made sure that Sock and Buskm Club presen products from other high schools the efforts of Ysleta actors and actresses trained by her have gained state-wide recognition Going beyond her usual efforts she led the turning of make believe into reality with annual Chrndren s Theater offerings Her contributions to the Tribe went beyond the Speech Department Under her sponsorship and direction the Senior Play the proceeds of which will aid future Student Bodies was presented She added llqht and color literally to every program and assembly in J M Hanks Auditorium by controlling a complex lighting system For the reasons stated above we of the yearbook staff are proud to dedicate the 1957 Otyokwa to Miss Imogene Bagwell, Speech Department chairman tations were laudable, highest-quality productions.
