In this, the 19.44-1945 editwn of the Otyokira, the stajf wishes to capture a small portion of high school life. We wish to portray in this fourth wartime edition of the Ysleta High School year- book some of the fun, the cornradeship, and the momentary excite- ment of this past year. In doing these things we wish to offer in full reverence the hope and prayer that there will be very few editions of the Otyokwa to follow that will be printed in wartime. May this book bring thoughts of all the pleasant occasions and events during the fall and spring semesters of 19.44 and '45 which will always be treasured in the memories of the students of this year.
