Porter, Business Manager The Board of Education working quietly behind the scenes, without pay, formulates the broad, general policies under which the staff operates the schools. The quality of instruction, the breadth of the curriculum and the success of the students reflect the vision and leadership of the Board of Education. They spend countless hours, at great personal sacrifice, to improve instruction, broaden the educational opportunity and evaluate the effectiveness of our local schools. 3
