R Supervisor and Assistant MR. QUENTIN KINTIGH assumed his duties as Supervising Principal of the Youngwood Schools on July 1. 1952. Mr. Kintigh entered the education- al profession in 1929 when he began teaching at Harrold Jr. High School in Hempfield Twp. . . Af- ter serving as principal of Stanton Jr. High he served as Supervising Principal of the Bell Twp. Schools and the Penn Twp. Schools . . Mr. Kintigh received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Otterbein College and his Master of Education degree at Penn State . . he has also taken work at the University of Pittsburgh. MR. MINDER who is assistant Supervising Principal is a graduate of Pennsylvania State College, has been teaching Senior English. General Science, and World History for 22 years in the Youngwood Schools . . . he has earned two degrees the B. A. and M. Ed. ...We all agree he did a swell job sponsoring the Senior Class play The Curse of an Aching Heart, ..He is also the sponsorer of the Jr.-Sr. Dramatic Club. . . his hobby is books especially those dealing with the Shakesperian Period ...pet peeve is in- different and unenthusiastic people, particularly students. Our Teachers MR. FRANK O. FAIRLEY teaches Consumer's Math, Typing I. General Business, Salesmanship, and Book- keeping II. . . he attended Rider College . . Bach- elor of Science in Education . . this is his second year in Youngwood High.Hobbies . . . music and reading . . pet peeve . . giggling girls. MRS. HELEN CABLE has taught in Youngwood for 6 years . . she teaches Secretarial Practice, Business Training Exploratory, Typing I and II, and Short- hand land II . . she is a graduate of Bowling Green University . . her pet peeve is buses that leave before she gets there . . her hobby is reading. MR. GEORGE CHATLOS, our football coach came to us from Saint Bonaventure University . . while at Saint Bonaventure he attained the degree of Bachelor of Science . . he has taught Health and Physical Education in our school for three years . . hobby is coaching football and baseball. MRS. KAY WILD the new Physical Education teach- er who has made a big hit with both the students and the faculty came to us from Duke University with the A. B. degree . . she is sponsor of the cheerleaders and the girls athletic club . . she has many hobbies such as sports, piano, and crafts but only one peeve . . people who constantly complain.
