MISS GRAFF meets life as if it were her own invention . . . has charge of the Girls Gym and Health classes, Freshmen Civics class and the library . . . full of personality, a friend to all and ready to help at all times . . . sponsors the Railroader, our school newspaper . . . graduated from Slippery Rock State Teacher's Col- lege . . . taught the minuet for the Washington Lincoln Assembly. MR. MOUGH serves as our faithful Football and Baseball coach . . . teaches Boys Gym and Health classes, Commercial Law, Sales- manship, and Bookkeeping . . . sponsors the junior class . . . studi- ed at Stetson University . . . keeps tab on the students seeing that they use the right stairway in changing classes. MISS KUNKLE knows Latin backwards and forward . . . also teaches English I and English II . . . also was sponsor for the Railroader . . . graduated from Thiel College . . . is sponsor for the Sophomore class . . . has been in charge of our assembly programs this year . . . MISS CLANWSON is one of the coaches for the Senior Class play . . . teaches English III, English IV, and French . . . was a graduate of Waynesbtirg College . . . helped accompany the stu- dents to see As You Like It. MISS WAUGAMAN teaches us Algebra I, II, Plane and Solid Geometery, Trigonometery, and Business Arithmetic . . . drives to and from Blairsville everyday . . . has been competent in handling finances both our junior and Seniors years . . . grad- uated from Indiana State Teachers College . . . is a regular math- emagicianf' MR. FOX devotes his time to Biology, Chemistry, Physics . . . is peeved because more of his star chemistry students didnt take Physics . . . graduated from Xxfaynesburg College . . . keeps physically fit by working on construction jobs in the sum- mer . . . sponsors the Science Club . , . has taken them to Wasli- ington, D. C. twice . . . likes to get up a good discussion in class. MR. RUTTER is our basketball coach, Wtvrld History teach- er. and Office Secretary . . . is quiet and well liked . . . stresses fair play '... always strives for perfection . . .graduated from the Uni- versity of Pittsburgh . . . is very thorough in his study and presen- tation of Xworld History '... is justly proud of his victorious bas- ketball team. MR. MARI is assistant coach of our football team . . . sponsors our hard working stage crew . . . helps us to meet the Problems of Democracy . , . has plenty of quizes in reserve . . . and loves his little cherubs' '... teaches Spanish I and Spanish II . . . Juniata College is his Alma Mater.

HARRIS was a stranger in this town at the beginning of this term . . . she teaches Home Economics and is part-time lib- rarian . . . she is a graduate of Seton Hill College . . . has great ideas for her F.H.A .... dislikes students who crack their chewing gum . . . accompanied two seniors to the F. H. A. convention. MRS. CABLE is our busy Commercial teacher . . . was junior class advisor . . . has been teaching here for three years . . . she is a product of Bowling Green University, Kentucky . . . teaches Typing and Shorthand . . . likes an extra warm room . . . has made successful secretaries of many of her students . . . MR. WAGNER has made us conscious of the beauty and value of music . . . was instrumental in allowing us to play host to the Western District and County Bands . . . has been patient with our many excuses to be absent from practice . . . has led stu- dents to attain higher goals in music . . . attended Seton Hill College and Carnegie Tech . . . conducts Band and Orchestra. MR. TOMKON studied at Edinboro and California State Teachers Col- leges . . . teaches Art, Industrial Arts and Mechanical Drawing . . . was the untiring sponsor of our Maroon and White . . . gave us encouragement when all hope seemed lost . . . was a ready, will- ing and understanding advisor . . . wishes that all junior Editors would observe yearbook planning for a change. MISS BECH- TOLD leads us in giving others pleasure by song . . . directs the boys and girls Glee Club . . . studied music at Seton Hill College and the Duquesne University . . . prepared music for Patrons Night, led us in a broadcast of Christmas Music, also Glee Club Concert, Baccalaureate and Commencement Services . . . has led students to participate in County and District Chorus.

Nurse MRS. GARLAND is our school nurse . . . presenting health is her duty . . . she assists the doctor in giving yearly physical ex- aminations . . . graduated from Westmoreland Hospital School of Nursing . . . is present to give first aid in case of emergency . . . student at Pitt. Tax Collector MRS. BAKER is the efficient tax clerk for the School Board . . . attended the University of Pittsburgh . . . is very friendly . . . takes her turn at keeping study halls during assembly. Custodian MR. SHRADER is our school custodian . . . heating the building and keeping it clean are but a few of his daily jobs . . . is always present when needed . . . called Boomer by the stu- dents . . . graduate of Y. H. S .... because he was the victim of an unfortunate accident in which his wrist was hurt, it was nec- essary to call MR. MURPHY, the former custodian, who proved to be a friend willing to help in time of need.
