A Foretelling It may have been coming home after several years travel that caused me to think of my fellow graduates of class 47 . Upon entering the Administration Building at the Airport, I was surprised to find Faye Hamilton at the reservation desk. She told me that Lois Stoner, Lois Morris and Jane Summy were stenographers for the same Airlinesg also that Peggy Fullem and Helen Hoburn were switchboard operators. She also told me that June Curry, Audrey Eiseman, Hattie Marks and Winogene Wagner were secretaries for Pan American Air- ways. I noticed familiar faces among the ground crew They were Robert Orbrn and Keith Kunkle and rt so happened that the pilot and co pilot were none other than Dick Baker and George Wrneman Looking xerx perk w as our Hostess 'Nadine Stern w ho w hen not busx chatted w ith me during the flight She said Anna Karas Janet Couchenour and Martha Jane Faust had become pri rate secretaries and were located rn Florida and Pittsburgh Also she had met Eddie True Paul Wrenand Paul Wagner Janet Stairs Bill Peoples Bill Delserone and Blanche Lauffer when ther flew home from xarrous colleges for the Holidays and another group consisting of Joe Brown Paul Null Don Ganter Joe Poerro Eldridge Rager Emerson Trout Warne Robertson and Jack Wingfield who were flying to New York to play professional football The last report she heard of Bob Storev was that he was rn the 'Vavr and Janet Erchner Pattx Olmer Thelma Perkins and Dorothx Ramsden were graduate nurses While waiting for mx train rn Pittsburgh I noticed Rax Bennett and Howard Hamrl ton on engines and as passengers Returning home from their robs as glass cutter and ool maker were Donald Ersler and Jim Danks Lpon returning home Iwas pleased to learn that sexeral of our class were prominent businessmen Doctor Reamer Barnhart Drug glst Edward Carlson Undertaker Ronald Miller and Manager of the Pearl Theater Jimmie Henderson Also Frances Brzub was a success ful Beautrcran with Audrex McGinnis and Alice 'VIarre Nialxrnr as a srstants The Socretx Column of the paper of which Marx Ruth Srllaman was the reporter gaxe colorful descriptions of three weddings those of Lois 'Nl althour and Arthur VS entzel Anna Mae Bxers and Johnnr Cullen Joanne Cousins and Vi as ne Painter It also told of an organ recital grxen br Lors Dell and the news of Sammx 'Noel rornrng a f As I folded mx paper I felt a glow of pride that I had been a i member of a class w hrch not onlx was doing credit to themselxes but also reflectrng credit back to Youngwood High School XX ANNA KARAS MARTHA JANF FAUST , - . v v 1 v 1 q v . 1 v v Y V , n, A Y ' 7 v 7 .
