Cl ul, The high school Glee Club under the direction of Miss Nell Bechtold has become almost a tradition in our school. Other clubs have organ- ized and disbanded. but the Glee Club still carries on. The girls and their director are both to be congratulated on achievements and, too, their willingness to entertain at meetings. During the past X681 the girls sang at the December meeting of the Parent Teacher s Association They took part 1n the musical program given on Patron s Night Together with the band, they contributed their part to the Arboi Dax exercises The club excluding the Seniors is well prepared to make its most important appearance of the year at Bac calaureate ceremonies The senior girls will make their final appear ince when they sing on Commencement night We wish the club manv more successful years in the future AEM First row Juanita Buskey Alice Elchner Maureen Duffy Janet Zimmer man Gloria Springer Jean Thomas Mary Jane Rhea Galla Springer Kay Murray Jaret Kunkle Nancv Boyle H zel Jones Norma Buskey Patty Carlson Margaret Springer Betty Reed Doris Sams Murneth Mar tin Marjorie Cro by Third row Anra Margaret Ebner Nancy Smith Betty Blockstein Rebec ca Kunkle Helen Klingen mith Helen Placey Betty Mae Harrison Flor ence Enlow Ferne Moore Fourth row Lorxs OKeane Elai e Baker Ruth Lamb Margaret Hudock Marle Repasky Elizabeth Fisher Betty Mawhinney Miss Bechtold Director Fifth row Gail Marshall Barbara Kunkle Robertha Cramer Virginia Mertz Betty Altman Gail Carroll Mildred Markle Laverne Truxel 4 945 , ' . . . . . , .
