TO THE MEMBERS OF THE GRADUATING CLASS OF 1971: I, on behalf of the Youngsville High School faculty, would like to extend to the members of the Class of 1971 my sincere congratulations on completing the require- ments for graduation. The requirements which you have just completed are of a minimum nature and hopefully in- tended to get you off on the right step through your walk of life. I would like to remind you that education takes many forms. A number of you will continue your educa- tion in institutes of higher learning, others will assume ap- prenticeship work in industry, a large number of you will learn through experience. Each one of these phases is in- strumental in'developing a learned and mature person, with experience probably the most effective. I hope that your experience here at Youngsville High School has been of a profitable nature and that it serves in commencing a happy and fruitful way of life. Felix M. Matthews Principal Wray May I take this opportunity to congratulate each and every member of this class of 1971, upon meeting the re- quirements of graduation from Youngsville High School.
