MR. ROBERT ENGLISH Music Music gives many of us hours of pleasureg it often relaxes and soothes our tensions. However, to receive the full benefit of music, we all need to develop- sensitive and intelligent listening habits. This is the main purpose of music and the chief reason why it is required in seventh and eighth grades. It also provides the students with an opportunity to express themselves in music. They gain additional knowledge about the instruments of the orchestra and band and learn some musical his- tory. The classes are con- structed to give the students an understanding of the significance of Visual Art. Mr. Carl Campbell tries to impress upon his students the uses of art in their everyday lives.
