Due to the remodeling of the High School, no summer meetings were held no-r activities attempted. Induction of new members and installation of this year's officers were held in September with a candle light ceremony followed by refreshments. The officers with their sponsor, Mr. Waide O. lngols, attended the State Worrkshop in September at Gettysburg Interchange. Here, the group attended meetings to plan for the State Convention and money-making proj- ects. For the complete football season, the club has op- erated the concession stand and made and sold footb-all pro- grams for each of the home games. ln October of this year, the Youngsville F.B.L.A. was host for the Fall Regional Meeting for Region l. Warren, Union City, and Lawrence Park are a few of the chapters that attended. The club also served for the Kiwanis Banquet. Every year the F.B.l...A. visits the Hoffman Children's Home

These F.B.L.A. officers proudly glance at the scrapbook which was entered in State competition. ! il in Warren at Christmas, bringing each child a gift and having a little party for them. Also, sunshine baskets were made to cheer the Women at the Rouse Home at Christmas. An annual event held by the F.B.L.A. is the Faculty Banquetg The teachers were entertained by a few of the students of this school. The members of the club attended the Spring Regional Meeting for Region I, which was held at the War- ren Area High School in April. Winners of contests from the Spring Regional Meeting will attend the State Conven- tion at Gettysburg Interchange in May. The F.B.L.A. earned money to attend the State Convention by sponsoring the concession stand at the football games where hot dogs, pop, and coffee were sold. Bake sales, dances, and the sale of license plates with YOUNGSVILLE printed on them also helped fill the till.
