Dean of Women AEI -ws-'P OLIVE P. MCCARTY The Office of the Dean of Women, which I occupy, is responsible pri- marily for the welfare of all women students of Youngstown University. This means helping students with personal and academic problems through counseling, and by making available other university and community ser- vices by referral in instances of financial, health and home problems. Many students find their way to Main 2l0 when they are seeking aid for their organization's social programs, for the scheduling of most extra- curricular activities is done by the Co-ordination and Calendar Committee, which I am chairman of. Whether it's a question of May we borrow the silver tea service, Dean? or Is the auditorium free next Wedne-sday?, then, the office and its occu- pants stand ready to help with the right answer: and those students who want help, counseling or information - or who just want to share some good news and a cup of tea--are always welcome in Main 2l0. OLIVE P. MCCARTY 21
