ROW 3: Mr. Quinbey, Mr. Resch, Mr. Shoiughnessy, Mr. Collahcm. Part-time instructors comprise a considerable portion of the faculty of Youngstown College. These teachers spend a good bit of their days or perhaps it's more correct to say most of their nights on the campus. Successful in their respective fields-prominent lawyers and judges are law school teachersg elementary and high school principals and teachers take over education and psychology classes: and a limitless list of professionals who serve as instruct- ors-these men and women justly deserve praise, for truly can it be said of them that they possess two careers at the same time. The faces portrayed on this page are only a small fraction of the great number of part-timers. The Neon photographers could not possibly snap everyone, but those seen here are representative of the notable group who, through their efforts and time, enable students of all walks of life to further their education day or night. Thus a hearty thank you goes out to these men and women who are an asset to Youngstown College.

B. C. WESTENFIELD ghffllcbafcience Professor R. Clare Westenfield came to Youngstown College in l946. He received his A. lvl. degree from the University of Chicago, and his LL. B. degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. ln the fall of i948 he was named head of the Political Science Department by President Howard W. jones.
