wif. muff . . . we 6A,6lI'lCQ 0 y0ufA lt is the fully educated young people who have the capacity and the spirit for that leadership for which the world is waiting. They have not only knowledge and skill and trained mind, they have more. They have the will to serve, and God's law is the law of service. They have sympathy with need, and it is the world's need which appeals for their service and offers them opportunity. They have faith in development from within. Because of their vision, their capacity, their courage, they have it in their power to build a new world on the ruins wrought incidentally by war. H. G. Wells, in closing his book, The Outline of History , affirms that human history becomes more and more a race between education and catastrophe, and he further declares that education is the preparation of the individual for the Community. If the true end of education is indeed one with the true aim of life, then that end is not attained until a man comes to give the best that is in him to loving service of his fellows. Thus only can one live a truly successful life.
