Art is his hobby. ROBERT MCKENNA Mac The hockey and track teams, Yearbook, cheerleading, Senior Play, and Social Committee occupied Mac this year. Shooting is his hobby. He will P.G. MURRAY MENDELSOHN Murray, who plans to study law, busted himself on the Yearbook, S.O., and as manager of the baseball team. STUART MORIN Stu The Castle Courier statf, Yearbook, Senior Play, and play going seem interesting to Stu who plans to be a drama critic. PATRICIA MORLEY Pat Besides being chairman of Senior Prom, the G.A.A., Year- book, and Commencement Committee proved interesting to Pat who was our Prom Queen and prettiest girl. ELEANOR MORRISSEY El El participated in the G.A.A. and Yearbook. Skat- ing and scrapbooks comprise her hobbies. She will be a nurse. SARA MORTIMER Sary A sports enthusiast, Sary was a member of the G.A.A. and Yearbook staff. FRED MOSES Fred Philately captured Fred's interest. He was on the Castle Courier staff and plans to be an architect. LUCY MUCCI Lou Lucy confined her interest to the G.A.A., A Cappella Choir, and Commencement Committee. She hopes to be a tele- phone operator. IAMES MURTHA Jimmy Iirnmy entered Young last fall. He was on the hockey team and Senior Prom Committee. Sports interest him but he wants to be a marine. THOMAS MURRAY Tom Ouarterback on the football team, Tommy was interested in all sports. He wants to be a defense Worker. CHARLES NIEWENHAUS Charlie The hockey and track teams and Yearbook were Charlie's interests. He sails in his spare time and will attend college. 16

He con- tributed to the Yearbook and Senior Play. He will enter Cornell. IAMES LARSON Swede Ilmmie liked to appear uninterested, but he was one of the most ardent class supporters. ROBERT LEDERMAN Bob Bob confined his activities to Cheerleading and the Yearbook. He plays tennis as a hobby and is going to college. ROSE LESSER Bobby Making her own clothes is Rose's hobby. She wants to attend a fashion school. VVILLIAM LYSAGHT Bill The football, basketball, and bowling teams as well as being chairman of the Senior Prom, claimed Bill's interest. Sleeping is his hobby, but he wants to join the marines. GERTRUDE MARSHALL Trudy Trudy aspires to be a nurse. She is a member of the Year- book staii and her hobby is drawing. HAROLD MAYER H confined his activities to the track team and Social Committee, while collecting cars is his hobby. IOSEPH MAXCY Ioe A member ot the Yearbook staff, Ioe named drawing his hobby. He is going to college. LOUISE MAXWELL Louise took particular interest in the Yearbook and Senior Play. Drama is her hobby. ALCESTER McCOY Cessy The Yearbook and G.A.A. took up much of Cessy's time, while reading is her hobby. IAMES MCGOEY Slim lim Although lim refuses to let us in on his plans for the tuture, we know he will be a success. 15

WILLIAM NYLIN Bill Although Bill left school before Iune, he was on the Com- mencement Committee. His artistic ability was of great help to us on many occasions. DOROTHY O'KEEFE Dot Dot, who hopes to attend Paine Hall, was on the Year- book and Prom Committees. Her hobby consists of odd pictures. LUIGI OLIVA Squegee A good, hard Working student, Squegee spent most of his spare time in Defense School. IOHN O'REILLY Slim Because of Defense School, Slim had to limit his activities to the track team. He will Work after gradua- tion. EMILY PAPPAS Blue Eyes Emily's interest lies mainly in music, as she was in both Band and Orchestra, also the G.A.A. Playing the French horn is her hobby. VERA PENNA Ve-ra's interest centered around sports in which she did well. Her future plans include work. MARY PIZZONIA Shorty Letterwriting is Mary's hobby, while the G.A.A. claimed her interest. She Wants to work and get married. WILLIAM POELLMITZ Bill A lover of sailing Bill hopes to join the Merchant Marine after graduation. IOSEPH PONICO Puttering with Deisel engines is Ioe's hobby. He was in the Bowling Club and Wants to join the Air Corps. ANTHONY RABASCO Banjo Tony, whose ambition is to join the Air Corps, spent his spare time in the Leather Club. He is a sport fan. WALTER RABBITT Bunny The track and football teams were Walter's interests. He collects records and Wants to work in an airplane factory. MARTIN REICHERT Marty Drawing takes up a good deal of Marty's time. He would like to join the army. 17
