Our first stop was at the Hollywood dance studio of Ann Freeze and Betty Johns. There we observed Lindsay Merritt, owner of Jay's Joint, taking cha cha lessons. While in Hollywood, we also saw Jim Salmon, artist for Walt Disney. We then went to Los Angeles to watch a Dodger game. Carroll Butler was starting pitcher. In the stands we saw Garnet Applegate, a loyal Dodger fan. Leaving California, we flew to Texas to visit our old friend, Tom Tex Tomaw, who has a flourish- ing chicken farm. Tiring of the West, we decided to fly back to the Brocton community. On our way we set down our saucer to have a refreshing drink at one of the numerous M 8a G Root Beer stands owned by June Maggert and Joyce Good. There we saw Jim Cummins, his wife, Linda Vaught, and their six children. Jim is now a P. E. teacher inthe Middle West. Refreshed, we resumed our journey to Brocton. There, we found Marian Mott teaching Latin and Ju- dy Gill teaching Commercial Arts. We also learned Sharon McCarty was Mayor of Redmon. Thus, having seen our community, we flew to the East Coast. There we saw Admiral Dick St. Clair preparing to sail for the Olympics. On board was Pat Mattingly, cabin boy., and Larry Calvin, Olympic weight lifter. While in the East, we went to New York where we saw mechanic Ed Luttrell. We then dropped in on Judy Towell and Carol Redman, outstanding businesswomen on Wall Street. Having made our last stop, we headed home for the moon, where Tom and I have been working many years. - - - Professor McHenry Blue Moon Y. A. They now have the desire to win that seemed to be lacking a year ago. With a little more interest, desire, and hard work, Young America will become one of the top teams in the Ambraw Valley. We will be minus two Senior lettermen next year. They are Dave Dillon, SS, and Jerry Penning- ton IB. Junior lettermen are as follows: Don Porter, P, Joe Hollingsworth, RF, Allen l-lornbrook, C, Ron- nie Lingafelter, LF, Larry Fogerson, CF.
