A concert pertaining to the Gay Nineties period was given on August 13 and 15 at the Illinois Pavilion. Six wonderful days were spent sight-seeing at the Fair and touring through places of interest in New York. This was an experience that will never be forgotten by anyone. Another highlight of the year was singing on the Ted Mack Original Amateur I-Iour in Chicago on August 31, 1965. New blue costumes were acquired at this time as the white ones were not allowed for the program. Kris Baker, Linda Garland, Maida Pence, Barbara Wayland, Bob Welch and Fred Welch are newfngembers of the Gay Nineties added to the group this year. Other appearances made include numerous church and civic programs in the Yorkwood and surrounding communities. 44 Cheerleaders Lois Link Mary Ruth Hickerson Gloria Saunders Mary Welch Vicky Crandall Judy Bickell Mary Ann Galusha 45 C if HW Ts , wg V 2 1 aw fm rm 7 0 9 0 R Marza's Vzszt Maria Marta Vogelius, Mrs. Jorge Vogelius, Mrs. Edward Smith, Mrs. Ward Melvin, Kathy Smith.
