 Good counsellors lack no clients” Shakespeare A Message to the Seniors Your years at Yorkville have, indeed, been historic ones! During the three years you have spent here, the emergence of many new nations and power struggles in some of the older nations have taken place. In our own country, we witnessed the election of the nation’s youngest President. And you and I were also unfortunate to see the assassination of that same man in whom the voters of the country had placed such confidence. Let the world go forth, he said in his Inaugural Address, to friend and foe alike that the torch is passed to a new generation. You are a part of that new generation who, having received the torch, must guard it lest its flame go out. The greatest tribute that can be paid to the memory of John Fitzgerald Kennedy is our dedication to make this country and the world a place in which all mankind may live together in harmony.
