Some ot the players around the studio formed together in a union known as G.A.A., commonly called Girls Athletic Association. The purpose ol this organization is to bring on the studio lot the right to form and take part in organized sports, Elected to head this group were: President, Alice Fitch, Vice-President, Mary Io Trummel, Sec'y.-Treas., Yvonne Perkins, Student Council Rep., Dorothy Larson, Publicity Chairman, Lauradele Lyon, Program Chairman, Mildred Wicks, Scrapbook Chairman, Virginia Chris- tian and Vera Eckert. .A. A committee of volunteers are brought to- gether to lead the sports and see that the 55 girls get out to them on time. This group is known as the sport heads. The G.A.A. takes part in many activities during the year. They sponsor the Christmas Dance, engage in the Play Days with other schools and other various means of entertain- ment for the group. Two representatives are elected each year to attend a summer conference at Williams Bay, Wisconsin. Mary lo Trummel and Mary Ellen Larson attended last year. -i., M H6 XM ' .iz Left to right-Y. Rahl Thats what the Yorkville cheerleaders do to keep up the moral of the team and the student body. Yvonne Perkins, Shirley I-leap, Loretta Collman, and Norma Ehrhardt are the four girls dressed in red and white. Yvonne being the only senior cheer- leader will graduate this year and so some other girl will be elected to take her place. They cheer for the first and second teams in basketball and football games.

Vivien has her chum Babs, but her father wants to kill her boyfriend lack Harmon, on sight, ln addition, she has a rival in Zelda Reece.
