was ! fl S 3' K - it . Sf A TI The following September everyone eagerly came back to school. This year We didn't start out as shy as the first year. After all We were now sopho- mores and had freshmen to remind us of our own green years. Again dear old vacation time rolled around. When We came back to school the following year We were really proud after all now We were upperclassmenlll The pop concession at the basket- ball games kept us busy but little by little more money kept sifting in our treasury. All through the year We kept planning for the big event in the spring namely the Iunior-Senior Prom. This was also a lot of Work, but every- one had a Wonderful time when finally the big night arrived. Finally as I said before vacation comes again. Now we really have something to be proud of. This year We are seniors. Most of us finally made it, lf We thought We had been busy in the past, this year we really were surprised. Fluttering around the halls We see Yvonne trying to get the rest of the annual staff to get their assignments in on time. We all have confidence in ourselves though and We Will put out a good annual, with the help of Yvonne and Mrs. Henning. Iunior Class On the lirst day ot September, thirty-tive ot us very proudly stepped into our new positions as upper classmen. We chose as our leaders Milo Olson, President, Laddie Falasky, Vice-President, Franklin Reed, Secretary, Mary Io Trummel, Treasurer, and Vera Eckert, Student Council Representative. Miss Yokem, Mr. Trummel, and Coach Mclntosh were also on hand to give us any necessary advice or information. We spent a very busy year, participating in athletics, cheerleading, G.A.A., F.l-l.A., F.l:'.A., library staff, newspaper staff, all music groups, and other extra-curricular activities. We earned money for our Prom by selling magazines in the annual campaign and by selling stationery and Christmas cards. We are eagerly looking forward to our senior year when We will have our chance to be the leaders of Y.H.S.
