left to right: E Skau R Goins I Larson A Harris R Ahrens B Kahe I Dirst R Miller I Matlock D Perkins I Fisher O Smith C Fitch M Mor tensen R Glenn A Nash B Bretthauer I Friel B Sandall N Ashley I Murst M Griswold I Abens E Stanton E Krnsel V Iewell V Elliston W Larson D Stevenson A Srebert S Mason S Bazan Ze m!afzqofZeS 447 Whoeel We arrived in our usual fashions forty eight of us The portals shuddered and the roof threat ened to fall in Green but confident we warmed our way into nearly every activity in school and soon the world felt the impact of our mighty personalities while breezing through our Freshman and Sophomore years Even rowdy class parties Latin and geometry determined teachers and inspiring class meet ings couldnt crush our dauntless spirit deliberation we decided we were broke This formulated a problem how to make money with the least amount of effort The Seniors Conde cendingly gave us the pop concession Then as true followers of the drama we presented the three act comedy Ever Since Eve Our treasury increased and our future looked brighter Suddenly we came to the realization that the prom was drawing near Resulting from pooled ingenuities and war time restrictions we transported the Seniors to Arabia for an evening of exotic entertarnment with the Sherk of Araby and h1s Harem The budget suffered temporarily but scorning defeat we rose again to such an effect that surprisingly enough we found we were well on the way toward amassing the S800 UU needed for the Annual Our Senior year started off uneventfully with a few trivial enterprrses such as football COHCGSSIODS Senior play Senior pictures and announcements With barely three weeks to produce The Late Christo pher Bean we turned out an incomparable presentation of which even Miss Spencer was proud We gave the Iuniors the privil ge of collecting broken pop bottles but kept the task of hunting pop corn and grease and popped for all our worth Then the Annual well this is it As usual we waited untll the last minute and then worked and worked -and worked So we leave our indelible mark upon this institution and sincerely hope that all was not in vain Say not the struggle naught availeth I I - ' , v . , .
