Special events, special projects and special people all made 1985 a year to remember... this time with meaning. The Yorktown Tiger Marching Band represented all of us in their one minute commercial to the na- tion, by being asked to perform in Phoenix, Arizona ' s Fiesta Bowl Parade on January 1. Fall Preview Fans packed the 600 seat auditorium and were turned away at the door for Friday night ' s perfor- mance of American Pop. The Computer Craze escalated as students and faculty members alike attended a full schedule of classes, workshops and special seminars to increase their knowledge in the Apple IPs potential. Pre-competition anxiety strikes horn player Fresh- man Michelle Freeman, before a playing audition to determine her chair in band.
