McShurley: lt seems like every little town has a corner grocery store where the sweet man running the store gives the kids 22 for every pop bottle, sells penny candy to dirty faced little boys and girls, and always has L1 friendly word for everyone. Yorktown is truly blessed with such a corner grocery store - Ralph's Market - and a sweet man - Ralph MCShurley. Many people do not realize that this man is more than the owner of the corner grocery store. You, Ralph McShur1ey, are a mon who has given your time and efforts to u school to which you are truly devoted - Yorktown nigh School. When the classes held their class parties, you always helped out. When the basketball team did a good job, you were always there to treat the boys to a nice dinner. Ani, of course, at the end of every season, you always sponsored the annual basketball banquet. For these things, and many more, you hold a plaee not only in the hearts of the Students, but 3 place in the hearts of everyone in the community as well. lt is fitting, therefore, that we the staff ol the Episode, Yorktown High School Yearbook, do hereby dedicate the 1967-69 yearbook to you as a lasting expression of our appreciation.
