all awk if Full attention was given to the Prom speaker, Steve Webster, as he provided the entertainment. The Annual Junior-Senior Prom was held at Cardinal Hall, Ball State on May 3, l968. The theme was Spring Fantasy. After the banquet, a speech was given for the honored se- niors. The music was provided by the Chosen Few from Muncie, who recently cut a record. Guests seated at the speak- er's table included the Junior and Senior class officers and their dates. At the right above are: Ron Fauquerer, Cheryl Thomas, Rick Van Dyke, Becky Hofherr, Becky McNutt, and Tom Walker. Wm... .... ,Q Representing Yorktown at the Annual Girls and Boys State at Indiana Uni- versity were: Merribeth Davis, Wendell Conner, and Beth Young, Y Honors for Outstanding Each year an outstanding girl student is chosen for her citizenship, personality, and scholastic ability. Rebecca Spaite was this year's recipient of the DAR Good Citizenship Award. Achievements Senior Rhonda Clark received the Betty Crocker award tor her accomplishments in Home Economics. Rhonda also received the Crisco Award.

Prom to Seniors Junior Steve Webster looked amused as he presented his entertainment at the Prom, which was appreciated strictly by the iuniors. One dance that never changes is the slow dance. By the look on Tom Gasaway's face, this dance is the all time favorite. Mn. Each Prom is different from the next in its decorations, theme, and danc- ing. Instead of the Pearl, they're doing the African Twist.
