Cheaper By the Dozen, the junior class play of 1958, brought laughter both before and during the production. On the evening of Octo- ber 29, 1957, the curtain rose leaving father, a strict disciplinarian, and his twelve children to entertain the audience. Action and comedy were centered around this unusual family and their daily time-saving schedule. H n - .-, R-J . if-E N 'V . , rn fv-5 X 2 I, 4 . Www Mrs. Helene Walker, director, and student assistants, Tom Parkinson and Claire Kintner, had many jobs to perform both before and be- hind the scenes. During practice, they hustled an actor onto the stage before a scene and tried to keep others quiet. At rehearsals the stage was occupied by amateur actors going over scenes while others memorized lines off stage. This year's theme was Quo Vadis -Victory, which means, We're on our Way to victory. Board of Control members nom- inate a boy and girl from each class. From these nominations one boy and one girl are elected by a money vote to reign over the basketball season. Profit from the dance is used for Pep Club activities. Judy Godwin and Doris Pope boost the votes of their favorite candidates in the contest for king and queen of the Tip- Off Dance. wwf ' These students find a slow dance restful after an evening of Rock 'n Roll.
