N., checks her sup- T Abrupt changes in the weather cause colds and sniffles. Pleas for aspirin and kleenexes are daily occurances in the nurse's office. When epidemics occur, the telephone is used to call parents and then the trek homeward begins, using any methods available. Many students, however, take advantage of the school lunch program, eating a hot lunch prepared and served by the cooks. Several ele- mentary students receive their lunch free of charge when they wash the dishes or dry the trays.
